What does an office mean today? What does it need to offer? What can it do?
As an experienced real estate company in an ever-changing world we as Aurelis dare to experiment: with VABN. Situated between the university and the stock exchange, our new work space is meant to enable young tech companies to start up and grow together.
Our aim is to further increase the inherent attractiveness of Germany’s financial capital, Frankfurt, to up-and-coming tech companies.
The new work space caters to the pioneers of a whole new way work of working: startups.
We worked with designers who get young companies to create a new space for new work. Eight selected startups are currently enjoying nine rent-free months. We will continue to cooperate with potential partners who want to drive the startups’ work with us.
All we ask in return: new insights into how the work space impacts one’s work.
Design & Construction
Working with Hochschule Mainz, HFT Stuttgart, and msm meyer schmitz-morkramer architects, we redesigned a complete floor from scratch.
Applications & Pitches
Startups were invited to submit their ideas, and to pitch in front of our jury.
Move-in & start working
Selected startups are testing our new office space during nine rent-free months.
Some 570m² have been transformed across all areas:
Dividing walls? Get them out, put them in, make them new, make them live. Equipment? Get serious, get playful, get flexible, get going. Atmosphere? Vibrant, communicative, focused. Technology?
